December is near and I want to write about some interesting places in Prague for the school from Romania.

So first: Prague castle - This castle is very old. I think 1200 years. The castle that we know has its form from the 18th centrury, when it was rebuilt by empress Marie Terezie. St. Vitus Cathedral was founded in the 14th century by Charles IV and it was completed in the 20th century. Prague castle was the seat of Czech kings for centuries.

Old Town Square - Its one of the oldest squares in Prague. Every year at Christmas, there is a big market and in the middle of the square there is very big Christmas tree too. One of the most famous Czech monuments is there too - The Prague astronomical clock. According to the legend, the work of master Hanuš whose eyes were injured after he built the clock but itsprobably not true.

The Old Jewish Quarter (Josefov) - This quarter is near to the Old Town Square and its a part of the old town of Prague. Today there is only a small part of the original Jewish town left. There are many synagogues such as the Old-New Synagogue, Pinkas Synagogue or the Spanish Synagogue. According to the legend at the attic of the Old-New Synagogue, there is inside hidden the Golem. Golem is an artificial man made by rabbi Loew. This Golem had protected the Jewish town and he only listened to the commands of the rabbi. But one day he had gone bad and the Golem destroyed a big part of the Jewish town.

Cyberbullying

Cyberbullying now appears quite often. But it must not be only on the internet but also on other electronic things like cell phones, ipods or on many other gadgets. Cyberbullying goes hand in hand with normal bullying. The prevention is quite difficult  but the main thing is to inform the adults such as parents or teachers. I personally have never encountered this. I hope that this page will help us to understand what to do and how to oppose this problem.

What is cyberbullying?

The term cyberbullying has come from modern technologies. Cyberbullying is a threat in the Czech Republic too. Publishing unwanted videos on the internet or sending bad messages to people is a real threat to all of us. Something needs to be done about this.
